Ingredients

1 cup vanilla ice cream

2 Tbsp. store-bought or homemade chocolate syrup

¼ cup malt powder such as Ovaltine

¾ cup whole milk

Whipped cream, crushed chocolate malt balls, and/or cocoa powder (for garnish; optional)

Method

Combine 1 cup vanilla ice cream, 2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup, ¼ cup malt powder, and ¾ cup whole milk in a blender. Blend on medium speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Divide between two small glasses, top with whipped cream and crushed chocolate malt balls or cocoa powder (if using), and serve immediately.
